  March 21, 2008 - Golden color. Fine nose of buttered popcorn, olive oil and lots of spices with hints of caramel and minerals. Seems perfectly aged with lots of brown spices and caramel/mineral flavors with a good spine of acidity. Finishes with uplifting complexity with loads of spicy minerals and a hint of hazelnuts. Very ripe and full-bodied for a wine of this age and from what some considered an off vintage. Paired beautifully with sweet crabcakes. Wonderful aged white Burgundy.
