  September 8, 2017 - Appearance was less faded and bricky than I was expecting and the colour had held reasonably well. The nose still has some power with cedar, tobacco and spice giving way inevitably to more vegetal notes. Very muted and tertiary now in the mouth with a short-medium watery finish. Not bad considering the age and vintage but more of a historical curiosity than a pleasure to drink.
