October 16, 2017 - Deep ruby, black core, some orange-brick color; slow-moving legs @14% abv. Beautiful aromas of Black fruits, licorice, laurel, beautiful (charred) wood structure. Dry-off dry, medium acidity, medium(+) ripe firm tannin, high alcohol and full body. Broad palate blackberry, black cherry, pepper, mocha, leather. Firmly structured, beautiful balanced between all components, velvety texture. Long lasting finish on a slight bitter-sweet rich note.
