  March 29, 2008 - Wow a great job here, in a considerable vintage for Montevertine.A wonderful bright ruby colour with pale rim.Just poured it is immediately polished it exhibits a powerful nose of dark cherry, black pepper,eucalyptus, chocolate it gains complexity with oxigen.The sip is lively sharp with flavours of black cherry with the typical acidity of sangiovese great definition and nice persistance.This is a perfect matching with meat and game.At this stage is very young with many years ahead.Probably the best Montevertine ever produced!!!!!!!
