  April 3, 2008 - Wife uncorked and allowed to sit for 2 hours. Sampling when I got home was tight and tannic, so I then decanted for 90 mins and drank over another 90 mins. Great wine as it opened up and hit its stride. Very smooth, lots of layers of fruit, just a very enjoyable and impressive wine. Paired excellently with tuna steaks in a spicy asian glaze. Possibly the best bottle I've had from the challenging 2000 vintage.
