  April 5, 2008 - The nose shows aromas of violets, nutmeg and currant. The flavors are complex with currants, cherry, blueberry and oak all coming through in a complex cascade of flavors. This wine is far more European than past vintages which will be exciting to some and not to others. The wine is young so it will show better with some bottle age. Best to wait another 12 months. Another hit from this producer.
