  January 8, 2018 - totally different from the last bottle, this had none of the funk and weird off-putting aromas, but was instead a lean, classic bordeaux that felt like it was still a decade away from being ready to go. 2005 is definitely one of my favorite vintages, as even $20 bottles are offering fantastic drinking pleasure.
