November 30, 2016 - Nose: The nose jumps out of the glass with black olives, black pepper, black cherries, leather, raspberries, earth tones, spices, violets, and bacon fat.
Taste: Medium/full bodied with medium+ acidity and medium+ tannins. The tannins are quite youthful and taught with black olives, black pepper, black cherries, leather, earth tones, raspberries, and bacon fat.
Overall: This is a fantastic, young Cote-Rotie. It certainly needs another 5+ years to fully round into form, but it is also highly enjoyable now.1 person found this helpful 2,593 views

This was decanted for about an hour or two by my friend before we fully dug into it. -
