  January 27, 2018 - Occasional dinner group; Bordeaux 2000 (@ Merlet): In the bouquet red berries and spiciness and beautiful oak and cedar. On the palate ripe dark and red berries, vanilla, beautiful acidity and tannin. Also a touch of pleasant sweetness. More classical than modern impressions in this vintage. For some more expressive complexity and finesse it is probably wine to wait until 2024+. 94+
