May 10, 2008 - Ruby color. The nose had berry and cherry aromas with only the slightest suggestion of tobacco and leather to hint at RRV. The palate was consistent with the nose, with the berry flavors being more upfront. The wine was medium bodied and a lighter style of Pinot than the concentration of aromas on the nose suggested. Very nice and easy to drink as well as a wine that would be very food friendly.
