  June 27, 2018 - Decanted for about 2 hours. Inky purple/black with a minuscule clear rim. A glorious potpourri greets the nose with high-toned notes of dusty sweet and savory spices, focused red and black fruit, licorice and graphite. Bright and juicy flavors contradict the color and offer layers of black cherry, plum and blackberry flavors that are vibrant, balanced and persistent. Perfectly balanced and lively on the finish, this wine is really hitting its stride. 95 pts. Now through 2030.
