August 5, 2018 - Fill into neck and perfect cork. Agree with BAM_MAN from 2 years ago, except think 91 is stingy for a wine that drinks like a beautifully mature Bordeaux. Silky and complex. Lightly drying tannins after an hour, so no rush to drink up. Exceptional.

8/9/18, 3:41 PM - Just drank my last 2001 Poggio Valente Morellino di Scansano the other night, and it was easily the best one yet. Bottle aging can do wonders for these well-made Toscanas. Having enough patience is the hard part!
