September 19, 2018 - Dense, opulent, sensuous, richly textured and layers with ripe, sweet, fresh tropical fruits, lemon zest, white peach, flowers and minerality. The wine has a lot of heft, but with all the acidity, it is also light on its feet. This should age for decades if you can find any. Only 500 cases, give or take.

10/21/18, 4:07 PM - Jeff thank you for all of your reviews. Question, learning on these white Rhône’s (understatement) but I have been told multiple times (and once form CDB) the wines go through immense change (turning brown and then back to the golden white after I think ~15 years). Question (1) have you experienced the changes and (2) are these worth waiting to drink until after the change (understand everyone has different preferences but really curious in your opinion). Thank you

10/22/18, 12:08 AM - That is my understanding as well. They develop fabulous aromatics and textures with 20 years of age. If you can, buy 2 bottles, open one now, and one in 15-20 years.

10/22/18, 7:47 PM - Why stop at two. Get four and try them every five years!

12/2/18, 1:48 PM - Thank you for your reviews! Found some of the 2015 for $70. Is the 2016 that much better than the 2015? Also what is the maximum aging of these wines in your opinion?

  • Steve Brickley commented:

12/2/18, 2:41 PM - You asked about 2016 vs 2015. I had the 2015 and decided to only buy one additional. It was good enough to add but I wanted to wait for another vintage. I have not had the 2016 but I bought more based on notes. So, I can’t really say from experience if one is better. As far as aging, I haven’t had them that old yet. My usual method for aging wines is to simply watch CT notes and see if anyone thinks its peaking or droppong off. If I see a couple notes with similar comments, I’ll either drink it or sell it.

12/3/18, 8:11 AM - Alex... What wine are you asking about? The VV Blanc is closer to $150 than $60.

  • Alexander Smith commented:

12/3/18, 8:16 AM - I have seen it at a mistake price on a market site, hence why I wanted to know compared to the 2016...and yes it was the VV
