November 1, 2018 - Aged surprisingly well after three decades. Red fruit, cherries still present up front, with finesse, resolving to a musky languid finish. Delicate. Tannins totally integrated, acids well balanced with the fruit. Nose has both floral and earthy notes but subdued. Lighter bodied than I remembered it from my last bottle a decade or so ago. Color bright red with very minor bricking. Cork fine despite age. Really lovely old bottle.
