  November 18, 2018 - Black cherry, cassis, plum, forest floor, loam, and a nice beam of raspberry on the nose. Tart cherry, black cherry, plum, earth, herbs, and some barrel notes on the palate. Tart, stirring acidity, integrated tannin, longish finish, med-full body. This is big and fruity, but the acidity really keeps it in check. It almost resembles a big Cali pinot as much as a merlot. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable.
