  July 13, 2008 - If I drank this wine blind, and was told afterward that it was less then $10, I would be pleasantly surprised. However, this wine always seems to be getting amazing reviews for such a bargain price. And I can't say I'm as excited about this wine as those reviews. It definetely offers quite a bit for the money, with lots of fruit, a touch a sweetness, and while not as much acidity as I like, enough to keep it fairly balanced. However, even with the low sugar content, this still seemed sweeter then many German wines with a lot more sugar, because of the low acidity. A great wine for a casual pour on a summer day, just don't expect any revelations.
