  November 30, 2005 - This wine has a lot of potential but is still very young. It was very tannic but was drinkable with food. The flavors included chocolate, coffee and blackberries. A hint of the potential is on the very long, aromatic finish. I should have saved some to try today but oh well. Lots of sediment in the bottle so decant carefully. [~$65 on release; a one hour decant did not affect it so I would decant longer next time; good with homemade hamburgers]
