May 10, 2020 - CT says it's been seven years since I last cracked open a 1990 Lagrange, and while my experience this time around wasn't as rhapsodic as in 2013, this is still outstanding. Plenty of the same deep aromas of tobacco smoke, turned earth, cassis, and old cedar chest that I loved from before. On the palate, it still has that strong, rich fruit and savory, earthy persona, but it's turned just a shade plummier and stewier with more time in the bottle, signaling that one should open them sooner rather than later.
The classic 1990 BDX overperformer; so glad I could take another spin with this beauty, and it was a great match with my Mother's Day smoked brisket.1 person found this helpful 2,844 views
