  November 7, 2008 - A real bruiser of a wine. Needed a good 2 hours of air. Dark, thick and still quite tannic. I can see those who prefer the modern winemaking style to love this but for me, the volume was just too loud to really hear all the nuances lurking underneath. Certainly drinkable now but will hold and should imporve. Maybe I will like it more once it mellows out.
