  August 9, 2020 - Opened 2 hours before serving, tasted alongside the 89 Pichon Baron. This wine showed very well. Capsule looked good on the exterior, but the cork was very soft, fully saturated and came out in 2 pieces even with the Durand.
  
  Immediately a little tight, the tannins relaxed rapidly with aeration. Unfolding in the glass with pressed violets, red fruits along the spectrum, and saddle leather. Still with some structure left, but not a long life remaining. A surprising treat
