  November 22, 2020 - The nose offers a sweet nose of dark cherry, oak, milk chocolate, cassis and nutmeg. Full bodied with a burly tannin structure that shows oak and skin components. It integrates nicely with modest acid and forms a sturdy but pleasant mouthfeel. The flavor profile includes sweet cherry, boysenberry, blackberry, cigar tobacco and black pepper. I have zero prior experience with this grape or producer, but this seems like it’s either just entering its prime face or already somewhere in it.
