  December 8, 2020 - Stunning in appearance, with its deep red center, the wine was nothing short of profound. A powerful red Burgundy displaying intense red and black fruits and structured flavors of earth, raw meat, leather and Asian spices with powdery tannins. The nose is fantastically pure and seductive with hints of classic DRC spice box, hoisin, mint and a touch of licorice. For me La Tâche has always shown an enigmatic personality, a perplexity of power and elegance unlike any other wines on the planet. Always a privilege and emotional experience to behold. 97+
