    February 23, 2021 - Brouwerij Rodenbach (Palm NV-SA), Rodenbach, Vintage 2018 (Bottled 2020), Flanders Red Ale, Aged in Oak Foeders, Foeder No. 220, 7%.
    Unblended Flanders Red-Brown Ale matured in oak caks for 2 years.
    Rudi Ghequire, brewmaster.
    BBE: 04/08/2025
    EAN: 5410583803090
    TN 05-02-2021 ca. 19DegC:
    Good, but too much acids for me vs a light sweetness.
    Only a little bit complex and rather short.
    TN 09-02-2021 ca. 19DegC:
    Now much softer, less harsh acids and somewhat more creamy, round and with a subtle soft mousse.
    TN 13-02-2021 fairly cold ca. 12DegC:
    To compensate for the acids I tried a 50/50 blend of this Rodenbach and Brand Dubbel Bock (BBE: mrt 21; so I guess at least 2 yo; Lot 9256528Y), which was a good blend (S=88).
    Conclusion:
    I llke it, but too much acidity for me.
    S=87 R=7(10) 2/23/21 M=2021-2028 or maybe (much) more.
