  December 31, 2008 - Had this for New Years Eve alongside a 2003 Ridge Indepedence School Zin. Although this was good, it had no chance to shine against the that wine. Big nose of Vanilla, Chocolate, cinnamon and blackberries. Full throttle wine, got some petrol with a bunch of "brambly" fruit and a nice long finish. Great structure to this wine. Although a good wine, it was overshadowed by the other Zin.
