  April 7, 2021 - Coravin pour. Opaque dark garnet. Nose is initially very black cherry and chocolate dominant with an undertone of dried fruit. Dense, quite tannic and muscular, angular and acidic. Palate has prunes, cherry, baking spices and a bitter edge to the finish. Probably needs more time to round out the rough edges. Needs food at this point and something fatty or rich most likely.
