Community Tasting Note

July 18, 2021 - I tend to buy the Bedrock Heritage wines and Syrahs and eschew the Zinfandels. But wines like this show just how arbitrary of a decision that is. Can't help but love wines like this.

You can make Zinfandel in lots of places -- different though it may taste -- but you can only make Evangelho in one place. And that's what I feel like I'm tasting when I drink it, or Papera, or Old Hill -- that place.

No, it doesn't make sense. :) Like I said in the note, I acknowledge that it's arbitrary. But I like a lot of different kinds of wine, so I have only so much room for Zinfandel, and that's how I like to use it.
