August 29, 2021 - Another cracking Lawsons. One of Australia's unsung under rated Shiraz's from the often forgotten region of Padthaway. Approaching its prime it was dense deep crimson red, oily fat rich and laden with blackberry, chocolate and slight spearmint synonymous of the region. Impossible to pick as Padthaway shiraz and 30 years old. Just a ripper wine pipped on the day by an ETHEREAL 97 Basket Press. I have one more bottle of the 1991. I will keep it for a few years yet. Yummo
