  September 27, 2021 - Nothing like older Mondavi cabs, which tended to age gracefully on a "Bordeaux-like" trajectory, with secondary and tertiary characteristics coming to the forefront after time in the cellar.
  
  Instead, this vintage remains very linear, and not all that much different from my initial experience with it a decade ago. Sure, a little rounded out, rough edges gone. But other than that, this is essentially the same wine I drank back then. It's not a bad bottle of wine. My low score today reflects the lack of evolution.
