  February 6, 2009 - Bouquet dead initially, and taste had no complexity, so decanted for several hours. A beautiful deep plum wine with a nice bouquet of cassis and dark fruits and a little spice box. Tastes initially of blackberry followed by a core of black currant and some pepper, with silky smooth tannins. The finish has leather, white pepper, cinnamon and a touch of chocolate in the background. A nice medium length finish.
