    December 31, 2021 - Black ink with a hint of red ink. Very garagiste. The oak has already disappeared leaving unbalanced acidity. One of those Jancis Robertson recommendations en primeur that she has probably hoped to get forgotten…. fair play, she can’t get everything right.

    3/29/22, 7:26 PM - i also bought a few cases on her recommendation upon release and have been quite happy. Never have i encountered any balance issues with excessive acid? If anything, the fruit overwhelms the structure. Was yours well stored?

    3/30/22, 3:14 AM - You could be right about storage because someone brought this to the dinner and I have no idea how it had been stored. That said, there was nothing 'wrong' with it....just that it didn't live up to the apparent hype. It hadn't been decanted, and maybe a long decant would have changed things. All that said, I suspect this remains a 'garagiste' wine that is not to my personal taste....but chaqun a son gout!
