  July 5, 2022 - Pretty light gold color. I want to say this is a really pure wine but it definitely has some really appealing, lifted, oxidative notes of corruption that make it more interesting. Curry, citrus, nuts, salty consomme, and silage with underlying just-ripe pit, verging on tropical, fruit. Exotic spice cabinet. Full and rich on entry with bright, fresh, citrusy acidity carrying it through to a very long finish. There is a concentration to this wine that makes it pleasurable if not exciting. Certainly memorable and fun with food. Lentil soup tonight, although I would love to have this with Comte.
