August 19, 2022 - Blind Chardonnay Shoot-Out (Cru and Domaine, Portland OR): The nose is deep and lovely right away with gorgeous tones of meyer lemons, red apples, toast, kumquat, poached pears, stone fruits, custard, yellow flowers, and a touch of salinity. There is a whole lot of complexity and balance to the nose while showing off a more soulful side. The Medium/full bodied feel is polished and poised with crisp, medium+ acidity and a lengthy finish. This is a real banger already and there is still room for improvement. This was from Magnum and was a real treat on the whole.
