Not real complex but was decent. It does have some pepper/spice and dry mouthfeel.

Very nice wine! This was my last bottle and I really surprised by how nice this blend has been and how well it held up with cellaring. I have always enjoyed a lighter chardonnay that hasn't been heavily oaked, but this is a new favorite.

Brought to a July 4th party. Nice notes of honeysuckle, mildly dry, nice blend on Viognier and Roussane. I big crowd pleaser! Still drinking well.

Very nice idaho wine. From wine maker and accurate: black fruit tones of plums, currants and blackberries are present, yet subdued over time. vineyard notes of earth, straw, mushrooms, and stone minerals are more recognizable with maturation in the cellar. The pepper, allspice, cloves, cedar, nutmeg and oak tannins all perfectly complement.

Soft and easy going, with a fruity, chocolaty nose, and bright and spicy flavors that hang on the edge of jammy sweetness. There's enough balance and varietal correctness to make this tasty.

Wonderful nose of blackberries and currants. Decanted and ran through the Vinturi, but only waited 30 minutes before tasting. Tannins were still pronounced but softened with more air time. Medium finish. Very nice wine, but definitely could use more time in the bottle. I probably opened this one early.

Nice translucent salmon color. Nose has light aromas of strawberry and earth. Strong fruit flavors which tend to raspberry and strawberry, with some strawberry influence. Nice bright acidity on the way to the finish. A fine wine and a great QPR.

I'm impressed...Syrah up front, but the Mourvedre kicks in for a prolonged evolution of fruit with structure. A real QPR star at Costco prices.

This deep ruby wine (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) flaunts a nose of smoky black cherry, tree bark, tobacco and allspice. Full-bodied and freshly acidic, it offers black fruit and spice flavors that are framed with substantial rustic tannins and well-integrated alcohol (13.2%). Solid in the middle, it concludes with a lengthy, albeit astringent finish. Give this one some time in the cellar. It may merit a higher score in the future. Drink 2018-2025.

Full bodied and smooth, with an initial wave of black current and menthol/eucalyptus encased in a rich (but not overly ripe) body. Lacks a bit on the finish. Never had a higher end Idaho Cab/Bordeaux...if you haven't either, this one is a good one to try. Stacks up well to Napa/Washington Cabs of similar price.

Note: Did not decant...let sit in the glass for an hour with a few swirls and its flavor changed. The cabernet black currants come forward, the menthol eucalyptus is still there but takes a back seat. Even a bit more tannin on the finish. Definitely improves with airing out. Would rank it more like 90-91.

I really wanted to like this, as I like both varietals, Rousanne and Viognier. It just wasn't that good, with or without food as accompaniment. I didn't think it was sweet at all; it just had a sharpness to the finish that negated any positive impressions you might have had.

Dark color. Nose of cured meats, dark fruit, and black pepper. Medium body, actually a bit light for the listed 14.3% abv. Monolithic dark fruit with minerality and some spice. Finished with finely-grained tannic grip down the tongue. A touch of heat lingers. Good pizza wine. Not experienced with Idaho wines, but this is the best I've had.

Wine label indicated that this wine was dry. 32% Roussanne, 68% Viognier, however these grapes grew in too much heat, the wine leans more to the sweet, and for my pallet it was too sweet.

A no brainier for the money. Maybe a little heavy on the rousanne, but lots of crisp and citrusy notes from the savignon blanc.

Rhone Wine Fan Club of Napa Valley (Backroom Wines): Medium bodied, with a wonderfully aromatic nose, and good structure on the palate, with red and bitter cherry. A little one-dimensional on the back palate. Finishes dry. Got better after 60 minutes, revealing more minerality, particularly on the nose, and also some smokiness on the palate. Ready to drink but could benefit from a little more time. 87-89

I bought a bottle to try out. I am looking for a good rose and this wine looked promising. The color of this wine is a pretty light pink, nice fruit aroma, tastes good on the tip of the tongue, but the finish is harsh for my taste, maybe it's residual tannin.

A good syrah but a bit young. Idaho wine. A bit earthy on the palate but not necassarily bad. Just....young. Few more years either in the bottle or growing the grapes could produce a more robust wine.

An outstanding example of Snake River AVA terroir and wine making. The nose jumps out of the glass with all sorts of berries, black fruits, and minerality. The palate shows excellent structure, great concentration, and good balance. The finish is quite long. This offering captures the essence of the Snake River; it exemplifies all the finest characteristics of the AVA. It captivates!!!

The Snake River is not known for Cabernet Sauvignon, but 3 Horse Ranch produces exceptional bottlings of the varietal which would hold their own against the best from CA and WA, at a fraction of the price. This vintage is better than the excellent 2008. The QPR is ridiculously good!

Popped & poured. This was sort of "flat" and closed, even after lengthy aeration over the course of an afternoon & evening. I think it was a bit out of balance and didn't have enough acid. Dark fruit and some spices lurkng down in there, but not enough brightness to really bring it out. I much preferred their 2008 Syrah/Mouvedre.
