Nice acidity. Lovely fruit. A little less concentrated than I'm used to for Pinot Noir. Good balance otherwise.

Classic Dundee Hills Pinot. Tasted brilliant; still has some time to develop in bottle.

cherry, red berry nose. juicy with some tart cranberry and cherry flavors and a touch of cinnamon. fairly nondescript.

Dundee Hills Passport Tour (Dundee Hills, Oregon): The nose here shows some plum notes all rolled up in some heavy funk that reminds me of wood chips in the garden. It delivers some nice cherry flavors early, and I like the acidity on the mid palate here, but it ends up dominating the flavors a bit toward the finish. Everything is pretty straightforward, but the full acidity helps keep it tasty.

Dundee Hills Passport Tour (Dundee Hills, Oregon): If you like barnyard on the nose, you will love this. Some raspberries show through as well, but the barnyard is more than I can really get behind. It's got a gentle touch on the palate, and some nice strawberry flavors deliver early on. The acidity is nice and full, and it runs out well. Some cherry flavors show as well, and the tannins are quite light. I like how the flavor and acidity linger long. This is solid on the palate, but to me, the nose really holds it back. If you dig the stinky Pinot Noir though, you will likely really enjoy this wine.

Random tasting in the Willamette Valley with Ken: Better than their Oregon wine (they really are totally different wines, though; different wine maker and all). Pleasing, typical fruits on the nose. Mild on the palate, again showing good typicity with some funk and mild fruit. Nice and spicy into the finish.

Random tasting in the Willamette Valley with Ken: Funky medicinal notes on the nose; a rubber band. More on the palate, some pretty sweet fruit with some of the same funk. Again the rubber band on the finish... really funky, almost like a wet stale car cover.
