Oaky Napa Cab nose. Wow, massive, extracted, structured, medium+ body. Ager. Very old world. Big oak, but integrated and creamy. Slight pleasant greenness. This is damn solid. $40

Lovely nose - classic Brunello. Smooth, but light mouthfeel. Medium- tannins, acidic, medium body. Juicy. Almost sour acetic acid. Green olives. Delicious. $43

God, this was beautiful. Talcy nose, open, with elegant plum fruit, almost Chateauneufy. Very round mouthfeel, smooth, on the ripe side but very elegant. Medium+ structure. Long. Great oak, creamy. Half way between old and new worlds. Floral. Massive. Wow. $170 :(

My first 2010! A very polarizing wine to be sure, but I liked it. Candied pears, rich, hot. Rhoney bitterness again, which pulls this down for me. Goes down warm, like whiskey.
