2000 Hartwell Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon

Best of the night. Biased review. I am a dedicated Hartwell fan. Very fruit forward, plummy would be my word. Balanced tannins give structure and lengthen the finish.

2001 Rudd Oakville Estate Proprietary Red

Second best of the night. impenatrably dark, concentrated fruit on the nose, an awesome, weight feel in the mouth, and sweet black fruit flavors.
Red
2003 David Arthur Cabernet Sauvignon Elevation 1147

Very nice. Dark color, with the David Arthur trademark (in my opinion) tobacco nose and undertones. Fruit flavors of blackberries are very much present in the background. You gotta drink this with some big hunk o' meat.

Strong nose with creosote and tobacco overtones. Fruit is hidden. I like this wine - very different, but prefer the fruit to show through at some point. Would more time help?
