The nose is full of matchstick with a slate and mineral core and dried pears. The palette is silky and oily with a big mid palette and more soft pears in the mineral driven finish.

The nose shows some elegant Burgundian funk with beautiful integrated oak and big notes of peach and wet stone. The palette is soft with an oily texture and gentle acid and delicate mineral elements. The finish is sweet and full of citrus.

Dark dried fruit with savory elements of under brush, briar and dried herbs. The briar continues through the palette with a good firm tannic texture and great length. Not bad for a number two driver.

The nose has lovely edges of sweet fruit with a savory earthy core. There are still some fresh green notes at this early stage, but everything is in balance.

The palette has a big ripe plum and cherry opening with a rich tannic mouthfeel and a complex texture. The finish is long but also very big.

A massive savory nose of smoked meats, soft spices, vanillin and ripe fruit. The palette is rich and velvet in texture with big fruit nose, earth, briar and a magic finish. Top notch.
