deep red, youthful color and feel. Lots of fruit, exuberant, reminds me of 1990 La Chapelle. Long
Red
2004 Penfolds Grange

cherries, chocolate, dark berry, very big, long. sweet finish. Showed very well - could be an early drinking wine.
Red

90 points
very rich, jammy, a bit one-dimensional; very sweet and little acidity. Would drink up.
Red
1962 Penfolds Bin 60A

mature, sweet, potpourri; lots of complexity and multi-dimensional. Interesting wine and I understand very rare. But did not fall in love with it.
Red

even though our bottle was very slightly corked the expressiveness of the wine was obvious
Red
1976 Penfolds Grange

intensive color, lots of energy. Concentrated - a sense of muscat, sugar, almost port/sweet wine;beautiful aromas though

Red
1996 Penfolds Grange
94 points
over dinner - found this a bit introvert; would wait. not as impressive as some of the others.
Red
1990 Penfolds Grange
93 points
Less impressive than the earlier wines; a bit reserved, almost closed?
