White
2012 Fox Creek Vermentino Australia, South Australia

A floral nose with musk and ripe apricot and a mineral driven palette of gooseberry with a tart finish.
White
2011 Fox Creek Chardonnay Shadow's Run Unwooded Australia, South Australia, Fleurieu, McLaren Vale
89 points
Bright stone fruit and melon on the nose with a spicy and textural mouthfeel containing ripe fruit and some fresh acidity.
White
2011 Fox Creek Verdelho Australia, South Australia, Fleurieu, McLaren Vale
92 points
Florals and musk on the nose with chewy acidity that provide texture and a tangerine dominated citrus palette with a nice finish.

Flight 2 (5 notes)

Red
2010 Fox Creek Shiraz Grenache Mourvèdre Australia, South Australia, Fleurieu, McLaren Vale
90 points
A nose like a berry tart that is verbena tinged with spices and a core of stewed plums. The palette is berry up front with a spicy mid palette that is earthy yet fresh and a finish with buckets-o-tannins.
Red
2010 Fox Creek Duet Australia, South Australia, Fleurieu, McLaren Vale
90 points
There is some nice eucalyptus from the cabernet with ripe berry from the other grapes. The berry continues through the palette with grippy tannins and a spicy finish.
Red
2010 Fox Creek JSM Australia, South Australia, Fleurieu, McLaren Vale
92 points
This wine is quite delicate and has a soft perfume to the nose balanced with black fruits that are subtle and precise. There is a nice chocolate and blackberry balance to the palette with good acidity and structural tannins.
Red
2010 Fox Creek Shiraz Short Row Australia, South Australia, Fleurieu, McLaren Vale
93 points
This is definitely the best wine that I tasted at Fox Creek mostly due to the great balance of oak and the very deep, dark tobacco notes that are not typical of the region. There is some blackberry and touch of Ribena and these are all in balance. The palette is very soft with nice currants and a blackberry finish.
Red
2010 Fox Creek Old Vine Shiraz Australia, South Australia, Fleurieu, McLaren Vale
92 points
Quite closed and young, the nose hints at dark berry, but is also quite earthy at the moment with undergrowth and compost. The palette is blackcurrant fruit with soft earthy tannins. It is a very big wine and will need some cellaring.
