2011 Duckhorn Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley USA, California, Napa Valley

Pale color with aromas of grass, quince, citrus and tart apple. Softened acidity with subtle citrus and grass notes on the palate. Nice, easy finish. 88-89 pts for me, 90 for Domino.

2011 Mer Soleil Chardonnay Silver Unoaked USA, California, Central Coast, Santa Lucia Highlands

Pale yellow color with a green tint. Aromas of banana, coconut and tropical fruit turning to apple. Full-bodied, with flavors of banana, apple and tropical fruit.

2009 Fess Parker Viognier USA, California, Central Coast, Santa Barbara County

Deep yellow color. Notes of peach, toast, mineral and stone with floral overtones. Oily texture with a strong mineral/stone component, wax and tropical fruit. Long finish.
