Aromas and flavors of juicy blackberry, cassis, and pepper. Lovely acidity on this, with drying tannins and a long finish. If I recall correctly, this is a 60-40 blend of Zin and Carignan.

This was very tight and difficult for me to evaluate. Some dark fruits and spice up front but the big structure and massive tannins dominate the mid-palate and finish. Needs some time in the cellar. I believe this is 60% Zin and about 20% Carignan.

The most aromatic of the bunch with flowers, smoke, plums. On the palate there is blueberries, olive, and leather, with mild tannins. This should develop nicely over the next few years.
