Blind. Rich, obviously some dosage, freshly baked bread, only moderate acidity, developed and full, very pleasing.

Very fresh mouse, more than most bottles; Mature, verging on some oxidative notes; fresh, slightly bitter, quite dry, long. Energetic.

Honey, camphor, some nuts; decent length, fresh. I found it interesting, others just a wreck.

Corked. Perhaps premox as well.

Blind. quite full, rounded, a hint of sweetness, fatty, but nonetheless rather structured, fairly long.

Clear brown, lots of sediments, some tannins, but basically far over the hill. What a shame.

Developed, warm, slightly pruney, over the hill.

Blind. Slight bricking, dark; dark deep fruit, smoke, flint, complex nose with some tobacco; long finish, verging on being complex, obviously very young. I left it a glass for 5-6 hours and there was some development (albeit overrun by some spectacular wines later)

Initial a warm and interesting wine, rapidly grew into a TCA monster.

Utterly oxidized. Cork was disintegrating though.

A lot of warm fruit; an initial fruit attack that rapidly dwindled into a weakish wine, some tobacco, heavily extracted of course.

Blind. Dark core, bricking; Tobacco, tough, decent complexity, actually quite structured, but a bit short, a lot of dark berries towards blackthorn. When its identity was revealed, quite impressed with its liveliness.

Blind. Detailed wine, floral, quite tough acidity and tannins, long and fresh. A one-note song, but a good one.

Blind. Abundant dosage of flakey sediments. Camphor, pine tree, impressive, licorice, tobacco, still structured. I was never in Piemonte, but I liked it more than others, perhaps struck more prematurely with palate fatigue?

Blind. Youthful, graphite, tobacco, dark fruit; deep fruit in the mouth as well, a hint of sweetness, mighty - still structured. Never doubted that it was a West Bank.

Blind. A violent attack of fruit and tannins in good proportions, spicy - almost exotic, fruit sweetness, dark berries, appears slightly unintegrated (if that is a word in English?), rich, utterly impressive, youthful. Rating for now. WOTN

Blind. Balanced, smoky, quite rich, fine length, deep black berry fruit with just a hint of tertiary development, develops with air, balanced and complex, very structured, some peppers. Suggested CB 96

Deep fruit, complex nose, some heat, tobacco; a fresh and quite structured mouthfeel, very fine length. Structured, quite rustic, still quite interesting due to its complexity.

A gorgeous wine, finally coming into its mellowed drinking phase, intriguing complexity. Middle aged and confident masculinity without its youthful and awkward excesses. Like a dry Taylor 1963.

Blind. Very dark, violent, bark, tannin and acidity, dried fruits, dry tobacco (not typical sweet pipe tobacco), long. To appreciate it, you have to go with the ride. I liked the fare far more than others.

Blind. Flowers, white chocolate, extremely fresh, fine sweetness, baby fat, not much noticeable botrytis, candy for grown ups. Rating for now.

Apricots, some sweetness, simple - best forgotten.

Blind. Didn't go well with the Tiramisu. Lots of VA, which blew off after while - but not entirely. Some sweetness, but fell almost completely dry in the company it kept with other good sweet wines. No clue.

Floral, extremely balanced, light-footed and fresh, still very sweet.

Tasted at 4 AM at 13 degrees Celsius in the cellar. Giving little initially, remembered as very Bordeaux-like, at least with some warming, structure, yet a hint of sweetness.

Typicity in order, perhaps lacking a bit in concentration, as did perhaps the rater?
