Screwcap. Funny enough, no sign of reduction here, while some of the single vineyard wines (sealed with cork) clearly show it. Zesty, vibrant, enormously refreshing, but moderately aromatic and Riesling-like, more of a citrussy, neutral and lighter style. Seamless, balanced, well-made. Off-dry.

A big stepup from the Eins-Zwei Dry, now this has that classic Riesling character. Riper, juicier fruits, more concentration. Tart apricots, hint of petrol. Fuller on the palate too, texture is not too oily fortunately. Very crisp acidity, good aftertaste. Off-dry and extremely delicious. Also, a great value.

The single vineyard wines got 1.5 hours decanting, but this still has a bit of reduction, although it's not a big issue fortunately. More concentration, but a closed, muted nature also comes with that. Nice greenish, limey edge to the aromatics. Full-bodied with higher alcohol, acidity less pronounced, off-dry. A bit of bitterness at the end. It could have more finesse.

Now we are talking! Fragrant, delicate, poised, no unperfect details here. Also, no reduction. Flowery, vibrant, utterly refined. Graceful. Just a bit of bitterness at the end. Not that big as the Roseneck or the Schlossberg, but simply finer. I would drink it at this young stage.

Thermal bath/reduction hides the details, just as Brett can do. A clear loss. Full-bodied, dense, serious. Some tannins. Rather rich but lacks refinement.

Developed, but somewhat unusual, not a classic aged dry white profile. Smells like a sweet Tokaji, with interesting earthy, shoe polish notes, as well as some petrol. More complex than the younger versions, but the palate is not utterly convinving. Somewhat mellowing, acidity highish, still it's oily and a bit flabby, lacks zest. Also a bit metallic and salty, which is somewhat distracting. Hard to rate, some could adore the complexity, others dislike the taste. I'm kind of in the middle.

So young and vibrant! Flowery, fragrant, no developed notes here. Feels light on the palate because of the low alcohol, the acidity is stunning, very crisp, but integrated. Delicate, graceful. So refreshing as it wouldn't be notably sweet. Lovely.

Cool, fresh, grapey. Grüner Veltliner spice, some Botrytis. So vibrant, tastes electric - razor sharp, but integrated acidity. Incredibly zingy, amazing wine.
