Common reductive nose, reminds of a slight carbonic maceration.

Forse il 2009 e 2010 avevano più corpo e longevità, ma questo è così facile da bere....
Aristocratico, femminile, meraviglioso!!!

Maybe this bottle was a bit over-ripe and honeyed... not as perfect as the one I had before Christmas.
This one lacked of acidity and mineral long finish. I did not cathc his Chablis-side, but anyway, always a masterpiece!!

Meno performante dell' ultimo assaggio natalizio.... un pò più maturo, mieloso e quasi avanti con gli anni.... Mi è mancato il suo lato "Chablissienne" e la sua complessità, però sempre un bianco meraviglioso!

This Non-oxidative Melon was the great outsider of the night!!
What a wine... The early age acidity is mellowed and balanced, almost over, sweet and balanced, hints of tart, butter and white flowers.

Quasi completamente privo di acidità e mineralità... gioca tutto su tenui rimandi floreali e note dolciastre di yogurt e torta di mele...
Con uno spruzzo di ananas sul finale che lo rende così unico!!!

First time with this wine... and a bit disappointing....
Classic ossidative nose, but not as sharp and clean as it should be.
Not pleasant to smell, anyway.
On the palate things get better, but it's nothing more than a good savagnin with a long nutty finish.

Naso ossidativo, ma la classica puzzetta tarda ad andarsene e lo rende un pò scorbutico, poco pulito e preciso.
In bocca le cose vanno un pò meglio, Il finale è il classico "mini-vin jaune", note dolciastre caramellate di noce e uvetta.
Ma mi aspettavo di più da questo savagnin.

I read it was good, but surely did not thin it was soooo f***ing good!!
It's a non-oxidative savagnin, aged 9-11 in barrels.
Seductive shy nose, no acidity, no oak, everything in the right place, so gentle and balanced.
On the palate it's a masterpiece, mid-bodied, rounded with complex aromas of light butter and white flowers and a lingering sexy finish!
Perhaps the best Jura non-oxidative white I ever had.

Dio mio che vino... Ne avevo sentito parlare molto bene, ma non credevo che fosse così buono!!!
Forse la caratteristica che più spicca è la "maturità" dell' insieme, i 10 anni di affinamento hanno creato un vino così armonico,
bilanciato tra frutto, fiore, acidità, legno....
Non ci sono spigoli nè note che prevalgono, ma è tutto così perfetto....
da farti uscire di testa.
Sicuramente il miglior bianco del Jura che abbia mai bevuto!!!

Decanted for 24 hours.
A strange Vin Jaune, ( different from 2006), only 13,5% vol., pale light yellow, shy nose, getting closer over the first 2 hours of decanting.
Macle is renowed for his complex and fine wines, whispered classic vin jaune aromas, more vegetal and floral than nutty.
The finish lacks the lenght that a 2000 must have.
Totally outclassed my Tissot Vin Jaune Les Buyeres 2006.

Dopo aver buttato via il 1996 perchè era troppo scarico e inespressivo, apro il 2000 e la situazione cambia di poco....
Sicuramente un Vin Jaune atipico... Giallino pallido, solo 13,5% di alcool.
Dopo 2 ore di decanter, i profumi si affievoliscono, tutto si appanna....
Gioca tutto sull' eleganza, in punta di piedi, troppo misurato e restio.
Da un vin jaune mi aspetto, piu corpo, piu profumi e un finale interminabile, come quello del Tissot Les Bruyeres 2006.

15% vol. dark bronze colour. Dazing nose... so powerful notes of all you ask from a Vin Jaune. So rounded , full-bodied and ripe, perhaps lacking all the young acidity that will ensure a long life ahead, but wtf, who cares!?
Mouthcouating, caramelized neverending nutty finish!!
Sexy and really easy to drink.

Che Vin Jaune!! Top cru di Tissot, non si sente la giovane età, è già adulto, bilanciato, zero acidità.
Ti fodera il palato di caramella mou, noci, uvetta e non se ne va per minuti...
Spettacolare!!

Long mouthcoating finish, but the marc alcoholic presence is a bit bulky and overwhelming.

Blend dei 5 vitigni del Jura, vendemmia tardiva, 17,5% vol.
Non so come facciano a berlo da aperitivo, ma con la tarte tatin si sposa piuttosto bene!! Vino complesso che coniuga la dolcezza di un passito, a interessanti note vegetali e semi di finocchio.
In bocca prevale un pò troppo la "grappa", non è così armonico, ma sicuramente è qualcosa di insolito e didattico

Pretty uncommon seductive nose of rhubarb, cinchona and cloves.
On the palate it' s full-bodied sweet and spicy, with firm and biting tannins.

Macvin rosso. 100% Pinot 17% vol.
Completamente diverso dal Macvin bianco di Macle, qui si sente meno la "grappa", il dolciastro è bilanciato da note amare di rabarbaro e china.
Il tannino è fitto e mordente, ma resta molto beverino.
In un attimo ti ubriachi come un bambino senza rendertene conto!!
