Sweet, sugary nose, slightly medicinal.
A sweet alcoholic taste, short on acidity, in your face.

Characterful and balanced.

Dark ruby.
A vegetal nose.
Delicious.

Flight 7 (1 note)

Red - Fortified
1967 Taylor (Fladgate) Porto Vintage Quinta de Vargellas Portugal, Douro, Porto
Light ruby.
The scent of expensive soap, in a good way.
A delectable drink.

Flight 8 (1 note)

White - Fortified
1906 Cossart Gordon & Co. Madeira Malvazia Portugal, Madeira
Intense reddish gold.
The nose is an amalgam of treacle molasses and mahogany, most inviting.
A really complex wine, still fresh, a mingling of volcanic with sweetness and citrus flavours, a real privilege.
