Introduction
We had a fabulous lunch at the two Michelin stars awarded restaurant & samhoud|places. Seated in the private dining area on the second floor with a stunning view on the oldest part of Amsterdam. Chef de cuisine Dennis Huwaë masterfully blends classic with modern dishes and the very competent sommelier Yoshiko van Dobben did the wine pairings.

The 2009 Roses de Jeanne Rosé Creux d’Enfer (100% Pinot Noir) is rich and loaded with ripe red fruit, fabulous balance and a very fine mousse. An exotic and complex wine!

A replacement for the RSV. This is a mature, complex and balanced wine with black fruit, leather and tobacco flavors. Rich, with outstanding concentration, capable of lasting at least another decade or more.
