Popped and poured. This wine exhibited a dark ruby/garnet color. On the nose, aromas of cherries, plum, and blackberries with hints of licorice and spice. At first, there was a good amount of heat from the nose that would eventually subside. On the palate, flavors of cherries, raspberries and blackberries were met with hints of herbs and earth. The finish was a bit short and the wine was a bit unbalanced-acidity wasn't balanced by the fruit and was a bit overbearing. HS87
