Red
2010 Château de Pez France, Bordeaux, Médoc, St. Estèphe
89 points
This St.-Estephe is 48% Merlot, so it's unusual. This was drinkable but not integrated at this stage. The nose was the best part but the body wasn't anything special. My #5 of 5.
Red
2013 Juslyn Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Spring Mountain District USA, California, Napa Valley, Spring Mountain District
92 points
This delicious Napa Cab wasn't showing much with a pop-and-pour but at first it gave smiles with the delicious fruit and powdered-sugar finish. Later it got a bit shut down. We'll see how this ages; Parker gives it 25 years of life. My #4 of 5.
Red
2006 Cadence Camerata Cara Mia Vineyard USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Red Mountain
94 points
This was the best Washington Cabernet I've tasted and perfectly aged. Delicious palate-filler. My #1 of 5 and the group's unanimous #1.

2008 Futo OV USA, California, Napa Valley, Oakville

The 2008s from Napa all seem to be confused right now. This started off promising then never really opened up. My #3 of 5.
Red
2009 David Fulton Petite Sirah USA, California, Napa Valley, St. Helena
94 points
This started off tasty but monolithic, then after a half-hour decant really blossomed, floating like a cloud on the palate. My #2 of 5.
