Medium nose of smoky apple and pear fruit. Palate has round, ripe fruit and sufficient, but now cracking, acidity. Nutty notes add some complexity. Showing its age and one to drink up.

Whoa, this sports a big ripe luscious nose of peaches followed by more peaches, pineapple and spice. Terrific round, rich palate is made fresh with driving acids. An outstanding GG.

A quiet, steely nose. Palate has light-to-medium body with cutting sharp acids and not a ton of fruit to counter the acidic bite. Reductive too. Perhaps just a young, wound up wine.

The nose was a bit wound up on pop n' pour -- lighter with a melange of apple, pear and mineral. The palate too is a bit restrained. Charming white fruit and nuts. Good fresh acidity. Very good, but that's all.

Full nose with rich white fruits. The palate too has a richness about it, with round full body and moderate acids that keep it fresh. Fine now, but probably going to crack-up sooner than late. Drink up.

Magnum. Full, lovely nose of mature earthy black cherry and herb. Moderate concentration in an elegant frame. Flavors are very evolved with lots of earthy and savory notes. Pleasurable and charming.

This kept getting better over the course of the night. Initially quite nose opens up to medium-full with black cherry and some earth tones. The palate gains plushness with air to show fresh and bright with almost creamy cherry. Savory and leathery in the finish.

Attractive fresh cut cherry aromas are a good start, but then things go downhill. Lighter bodied with very modest cherry fruit and elevated acids. Totally disjointed and clunky. I doubt this gets better.

Medium nose is very floral with violets all day intermixed with ripe black cherry. The palate is clearly new world with a riper, sweeter fruit profile. Good countering acids provide balance and elegance. Smooth, clean finish.

One whiff and you know that it's on -- a soaring, layered nose of black cherry, meat, spice and earth tones. Delicious with savory, meaty, chewy cherry fruit. Long flavorful finish. Awesome.

Hard to believe ACYSO and I drank the same wine. Intense nose with rich black fruit layered with meat, olive and smoke. Tasty palate with lots of savory Rhone fruit that echoes the nose. A touch fat on the back-half, but that's my only complaint.

I liked this alot and a bit more than PSMITH and ACYSO. The color is downright youthful -- vibrant and almost purple. A gorgeous nose (my note starts "Holy Shit!". Aromas of dried black fruit and olive for days. The palate has vibrant, rich fruit. Layered and delicious with nice tension from fresh acids. Builds length and depth in the glass. Awesome stuff.

I didn't get to this until much later in the dinner and wonder if I caught it too late as others really liked this. I found the wine tired across the board. The nose had tired black fruit and ash notes. The palate had plenty of mature black fruit and some other complex things going on -- but there just wasn't any freshness and life to the wine, leaving a dull and tired impression.

Wow, big full nose is all bell pepper all the time with some dried plum and cherry thrown into the mix. The palate is a bit light and rustic, and frankly more interesting than charming. Much preferred the nose to the palate.

A limpid pale ruby color. Pretty, lifted aromas of fresh plum and cut herbs. Elegant and easy drinking on the palate. Fresh acids and lighter, lifted plum and cherry notes.

Full nose of mature ripe peaches and apple with the occasional diesel and smoke note. The palate is round and still moderately rich. Lots of plush fruit with moderate sweetness. I would have liked a little more acidity and cut to the wine.
