Introduction
Every participant had to bring a wine of the theme. We did not know which wines were brought by the others. All wines were tasted blind, also without knowing when the wine you brought yourself was poured.

2014 Henri Bourgeois Sancerre Rouge Les Baronnes

In the bouquet small red berries and cherries and a touch of toast. On the palate fresh acidity, some bell pepper, red currants. flint stone and green impressions. Fairly short finish.

2016 Paul Prieur & Fils Sancerre Rosé

Very light salmon color. In the bouquet blossom, raspberry and a bit aromatic. On the palate some strawberry and lemon. Acidic and refreshing and nicely dry. Quite different from the regular rosé.

2015 Henri Bourgeois Menetou-Salon Le Prieuré des Aublats

In the bouquet a bit stinky with minerals like flint stone, also melon, peach, mango and honey. On the palate white fruits like pear, some citrus and minerals. Good acidity and a touch of sweetness and bitterness. Nice wine and the most commercial wine of the flight.

In the bouquet flowers, blossom, some chalky minerals, and white fruits like green apples. On the palate good and firm, fresh citrus acidity, minerals, clean and a good length. Ripe fruits and a touch of pleasant sweetness. Beautiful wine.

In the bouquet minerals, cat pee, pear and character. On the palate minerals, firm grapefruit acidity, flowers, apple and gooseberry. Good concentration and length and the acidity is dominating a bit in this stage.

Concentrated bouquet with honey and tropical fruits. On the palate honey, melon, ripe pineapple, a lot of sweetness and also good acidity. A bit fat. Also a bit green beside the ripeness. Overall a bit too sweet.

Typical Sauvignon Blanc bouquet with grasses, cat pee and buxus. Also melon and some rustic flavors. On the palate citrus, melon, grasses, fennel, chamomile, firm acidity. Focused and tight with a good length. 90+
